Dr. Lara Westhaver

Lara is a third-year pediatric resident at IWK Health Centre. She is originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and completed medical school at Dalhousie University. She was motivated to become a “Sleep Champion” as she commonly encounters the impact of sleep challenges on her patient's health and quality of life. She has a particular passion for working with children living with medical complexity and working with their families to optimize their quality of life, for which sleep is so important!
