Miriam is a certified Health Information Management professional, accredited by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CHHIM). As a Decision Support Analyst, she applies her expertise in health data quality, analysis, and privacy to drive data-informed decision-making. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach and has built her career working with interdisciplinary teams dedicated to improving healthcare access and resources for marginalized communities. Miriam is deeply committed to advancing health equity. She believes that early access to health literacy and quality care is key to improving the well-being of future generations- a passion that continues to inspire and guide her work.
