Guidelines
The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) have released a revised Guideline No. 448: Prevention of Rh D Alloimmunization in April, 2024 which replaces No. 133 dated January 2018.
The practice of safely withholding Rho(D) immune globulin before 8 weeks gestation is consistent with Nova Scotia guidelines. It is expected that Nova Scotia guidelines be followed as the current standard of care for our jurisdiction.
