Dawn joined the IWK in 1997 and worked in various departments until joining the IWK Mental Health and Addictions Program in 2008, supporting first the manager of Children’s Intensive Services and then the Director of Mental Health and Addictions. Dawn brings a thorough knowledge of IWK administrative processes as well as relationships with people in departments throughout the IWK. This experience is important to the IYS-NS Team, which is based off-site and has many members who are new to IWK Health.
Dawn is excited to be part of the start-up of a new service for Nova Scotians. How great will it be for youth to have one stop shopping for services right in their own community!
Dawn has two dogs who keep her active. Traveling is a priority, and Dawn wants to see as much of the world as she can.
