Gordon is currently a Commissioner with the Island Regulatory Appeals Commission. Prior to his appointment, he spent 19 years with the City of Summerside as the Director of HR and Legal Services, Deputy CAO, and most recently as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Gordon has significant administrative tribunal experience having served on the Canadian Pension Plan Disability Tribunal and currently is the Chair of the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal of PEI. A dedicated community volunteer, Gordon has served as President of the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Chair of the 2023 PEI Canada Games Service Committee, President of the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Discipline Committee for the Law Society of PEI. Gordon has also served on the Boards of Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Green Diamond Ltd, and the PEI Bag Company Ltd. Most enjoyably, Gordon has been a volunteer coach and manager for various minor baseball, hockey, soccer, and basketball teams.
