Ryan Brothers is the Director of Solicitor Services with the Legal Services Division at the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Legislation, Policy and FPT Relations, a Senior Solicitor, and a Civil Litigator with the Department.
He holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie University, a Certificate in Public International Law from Queen’s University, a B.A. in Criminology from Saint Mary’s University, is a graduate of the Black North Academy, and completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program with an ICD.D designation.
Ryan frequently lectures at Acadia University, teaching courses such as Law and Politics, Canadian Politics, and Business Law. He also serves as a Board Director with the Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. and is actively involved in several committees and advisory councils in the community.
