Mike is responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of research and innovation administration across the organization. His role is critical to advancing IWK Health’s research and innovation enterprise and ensuring alignment with institutional priorities. He fosters interoperability and collaborations with health, academic, and government partners and promotes harmonized policies and procedures across sectors.
Mike provides advice and support for the activities of the Vice President Research and Innovation and serves as an active member on senior Health Centre committees.
Committed to the promotion and facilitation of research, Mike encourages open communication and mentorship of new and established investigators, staff and learners.
