Congratulations to Dr. Isabel Smith on being celebrated with a Lifetime Award in Pediatric Disability Research from Bloorview Research Institute. A leading researcher through the IWK’s Autism Research Centre in Halifax. Dr. Smith, a clinical-developmental psychologist and recently retired Joan and Jack Craig Chair in Autism Research, has dedicated her extensive career to advancing our understanding and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities in children and youth.
