Early Pregnancy Complications Clinic (EPCC)

The Early Pregnancy Complications Clinic (EPCC) helps by providing services to patients who are experiencing complications with pregnancy loss within their first trimester. 

How we help

The clinic provides patients with ongoing assessment and treatment for:

  • Missed abortion
  • Incomplete abortion
  • Pregnancy of unknown location
  • Ectopic Pregnancy: Must be discussed with gynecology on call prior to referral.  

The Early Pregnancy Complications Clinic Team is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and social worker.

Patients can expect:

  • To be contacted by our EPCC nurses within 24-48 hours of receiving the consult from the referring provider to review their medical history and discuss medical, surgical or expectant management

**A primary care provider, radiologist, or ED provider's referral is required.

EPCC is not an emergency service. We do not provide walk in care. Patients must be referred by their health care provider. For unstable or emergency situations, please present to your local emergency department.
