Occupational Therapy helps children and youth who have limitations in participating in day-to-day activities like feeding, dressing, working, playing, communicating or being a student or sibling.
How we help
IWK Occupational Therapists assess a child's/youth's ability to perform their daily routine, and and then work with the family to help the child reach their maximum potential. Occupational Therapists are members of care teams throughout the IWK, on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
