Physicians can request Collaborative Care phone consultation or one-time assessment from an IWK child psychiatrist.
To request a consultation, please call Central Referral and speak with an admin to schedule an appointment time.
The Psychiatry Collaborative Consultation Clinic (PCCC) is for physicians who will continue to care for the referred patient's mental health/addictions problems, but who need the advice of a psychiatrist to do so. These consultations usually focus on diagnostic clarification or psychopharmacological advice.
To request a consultation, fax a referral letter to Central Referral at 902-464-3008
Consultation by phone will occur within 3 working days and PCCC assessments will be scheduled within 3 weeks.
