Reproductive Care Program of Nova Scotia

The Reproductive Care Program of Nova Scotia (RCP) was established by the Nova Scotia Department of Health & Wellness in 1973. RCP is one of nine provincial programs and also a program of the IWK. Each of the provincial programs focuses on the health of, and health care for, a specific population of Nova Scotians. The focus of RCP is to work directly with hospital and community-based health professionals, health care leaders, health information specialists and health system planners to promote excellence in the provision of perinatal care.

The Rh Program of Nova Scotia, established in 1964, is associated with RCP.
