We help women prepare for elective surgery within our Women's Health Program in advance of their IWK Health admission. A nurse will assess the patient, coordinate care, provide education for the upcoming surgery, and coordinate any additional consults with an Anesthesiologist, Social Worker or Dietician, as needed.
