Denise Pothier

Board Director

Denise Pothier is the Chief Operating Officer with the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business.  Prior to this role, she enjoyed a rewarding career with Stantec Consulting with various roles, including Indigenous Relations, professional practice standards, and global ISO certifications. 

She holds an engineering degree from Dalhousie University (formerly TUNS), an executive MBA from Athabasca University, and completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program with an ICD.D designation.

For the past 20 years, she has served on local and national boards and committees and currently serves as a Board Director with Efficiency One and Engineers Canada.  Denise has been recognized as a Fellow by Engineers Canada. Denise has also been recognized for her community work and leadership by the Halifax Progress Club, Engineers Nova Scotia, Dalhousie University, Athabasca University, and the Women’s Executive Network.
