Natalie Borden is Executive Lead of Clinical Transformation. Natalie is a graduate of Dalhousie University College of Pharmacy, class of 1994. She has worked in community pharmacy, private insurance, and benefits consulting in NS, NB and ON. She joined the IWK on secondment from the Department of Health and Wellness where she had many roles over the last 15 years, most recently as the Senior Executive Director, EHS, Benefit Programs and Eligibility.
Outside of work, Natalie is an accomplished instructor and mentor; working with the Nova Scotia Community College’s African Nova Scotian Student Tutoring Program, as a lab demonstrator and lecturer with the Dalhousie University College of Pharmacy, and conducting admissions interviews for Dalhousie schools of Pharmacy and Medicine.
She is also an experienced board member; serving as a member and chair of the Halifax Board of Police Commissioners; member of the NS Barristers’ Society Council, and Complaints Investigation Committee and on the Halifax Regional Police Foundation Board.
