Sheila is a self-employed quality management consultant with many years of experience in health care, specifically in laboratory medicine. Her primary focus in recent years has been on the development and implementation of international standards, as a Canadian delegate at ISO meetings and project leader for the global standard for medical laboratory quality. She travels extensively both for ISO, and to lead workshops for both medical professionals and accreditation agencies.
Sheila’s passion for quality extends into all aspects of her life and she firmly believes that for an organization to deliver service excellence, leadership begins at the governance level. Sheila is based in Lunenburg, where she is an active community volunteer.
