The Canadian Center for Vaccinology (CCfV), located at the IWK Health Centre, is a collaboration of Dalhousie University, IWK Health, and Nova Scotia Health Authority. It was established to develop, implement, and evaluate vaccine technologies and vaccines for infectious diseases that have a significant impact on Canadian and global health, and to train experts in these critical and evolving fields.
Comprised of the Vaccine Discovery, Vaccine Evaluation, and the Programs, Policy, and Implementation research groups, the Center serves as a critical academic pipeline for Canadian vaccine priorities - from the development of promising new vaccine candidates to applied public health research that supports timely decision-making.
Volunteers are a vital part of vaccine research. For a list of studies looking for participants, visit the CCfV website.
