We believe in the value of fostering a productive relationship between IWK Health and the media community, so we welcome all media requests, and consider them a priority. Please direct your request to the IWK Communications, Engagement & Change department. Keep in mind that the privacy and confidentiality of patients and families are our primary concern, and so we may restrict the extent and type of information that we release.
Media visits
All visiting media must be accompanied by a Communications, Engagement & Change or Protection Services staff member while on IWK Health property. Staff will escort media to and from the interview or event. Media will be instructed as to what they can and cannot film or photograph based on family consent and health centre policy.
